Today we played against the leader of our league, Helmond Sport. Gioele and Joris played with the E youth and Niek and Tijn joined us from the E youth.
We started the game strongly and were lord and master on the field. Unfortunately we could not create any chances. 0-0.
Also in the second half we had the best of the game. Helmond Sport collapsed in their own half and did not dare to put pressure. From a corner we deservedly went behind. Kevin made a good save at first, but the rebound was hopeless. 1-0.
In the third half we continued to play our game. Through Martijn and Joey we were dangerous in front of the Helmond goal. Unfortunately Helmond also got chances and they managed to take one. 2-0.
We played well today. We were superior especially in the first half, it's a pity we didn't reward ourselves. Next week there is no game scheduled yet.
