PSV B1 played the league match against ADO Den Haag on Saturday. After the cup defeat against FC Twente/Heracles B2 and the loss against RKC Waalwijk last week, PSV B1 was eager for a good result. PSV therefore started the match brightly. Already in the second minute that yielded results. Josemar Makiavala opened the score on behalf of PSV. The Eindhoven team kept pressing and that led to many chances. However, each time the Hague goalkeeper or a defender stood in the way. Before half-time the score was 2-0 when Gianluca Maria turned away from his defender after being sent off from midfield. The striker coolly shot in. After the break the game slackened a bit and ADO got some chances now and then. International Ciftci was close to scoring the tying goal several times. Halfway through the second half, however, Marco Ospitalieri put the game away by scoring 3-0. With this victory, PSV is in fourth place, six points behind leader Ajax.
