Today was the first match of the champions pool against Vitesse U17. PSV started the match well, PSV immediately put Vitesse in their own half but for 10 minutes the game was evenly matched, there were small chances from both sides, both teams were still looking for the free man but the playing field was kept small by both teams, in the last minutes of the first half PSV drew the longest end, there was a free kick at +/- 20 meters from goal and it was taken by Joel Piroe on the bench was already said by Youri Roulaux this will be the 0-1 and indeed Joel shot over the wall neatly and so ended the first half.The second half was not much different than the first half. PSV started well in the second half but there were too many players who did not play from their position so it looked a bit messy but still Michal Sadilek scored the 0-2 in the 46 minute.After that PSV controlled the game.Vitesse only came close to the 16 mtr line a few times but nothing came out of it.In the 54 minute Justin Lonwijk scored the 0-3. Shortly after, Vitesse scored the 1-3 out of nowhere. Vitesse put more pressure from the 1-3, but PSV held their ground and created more space in the front line, which Joel Piroe took advantage of to make it 1-4 in the final minutes of the match.
