  1. Match report

Fall is coming and so the weather is often changeable. And so is our play. Often good and also regularly not, so it is changeable. Today's opponent NAC can use the points, so we are on our guard. It is a game with an open start. After 13 minutes Anthony gets a good chance but his new shoes are just a size too small to tap the ball in. But ten minutes later Anthony headed the ball through to Elvio who delivered a nice cross to Mohamed who scored the 1 - 0. At this moment it was a fair score. Then a period starts in which the game goes up and down with not really big chances until in the 42nd minute a great action by Joshua results in a shot against the inside post and the ball jumps into the hands of the goalkeeper. We go into the break with a (deserved) 1 - 0 score. That score could have been higher at this point.
After the break we got off to a good start and after two minutes of play it was Mohamed again who was able to play himself free after a beautiful pass from Tufan and the 2 - 0 is on the board. Then NAC has to come out and not give up the game already. There are some chances and in the 70th it is Geraldo who scores the 3 - 0 after a cross from Elvio. NAC's heads started to droop a bit more and we had a few more chances. First it is Tufan who scores the 4-0 via a magnificent free kick (again) and the final score is set at 5-0 by Bakkali in the 90th minute.
With this victory we are now, also considering the other results of today, in a nice third place.
Next Tuesday the trip to London is scheduled for the game against Tottenham Hotspur and then Saturday's trip to Heerenveen is the next trip this coming week. So we don't have to complain about being bored. Good luck in London.
