In a mediocre match played by PSV - side, especially in the first half, PSV C1 took away three points in Rotterdam, then after all.
It was quite messy and it was as if our boys were not on the ball, coach Mart van Duren had to constantly try to get and keep the boys sharp. In the 8th minute it was still PSV that opened the score, through a goal by Anthony van de Hurk with assist by Okan Kose. In the 30th minute, it was 1-1 due to sloppy defending by PSV. Immediately after halftime, in the 40th minute, PSV was still not up to the task and it became 2-1 for Spartaan '20, due to poor closing of the offside trap. After some changes in personnel, PSV got a better grip on the match and in the 45th minute Jorda made it 2-2, five minutes later it was Jorda again, after good preparatory work by Memphis, who made it 2-3. In the final phase of the match, Tufan made it 2-4, after a well-taken penalty due to hands by one of the Spartan '20 defenders, who had to come off with red. All in all a hard fought victory, but another three points on the way to a possible championship. A few minutes before the end, goalkeeper Laurens van Leuken was replaced by Nigel Bertams, who returned to PSV C1 after more than five months of injury.
