A beautiful autumn day in Tilburg. The sun would come through but could not really find its way between the low hanging clouds. So it was again with our boys. The way to the goal with a high rate of play did not go the way it had been trained for the past week. Yet in the end, PSV made the difference. Early in the game Jeroen made himself beautifully free and tapped the 0-1 for PSV against the net. Unfortunately, due to some hesitant intervention by Daan, the ball ended up with a Sarto player instead of PSV's backside. Daan kept an excellent 1st half, very good. Already before half time PSV put things in order. through an own goal by Sarto and a beautifully set up attack over the right Olivier made it 1-3. After halftime, PSV made things too difficult at times. Despite the 1-4 by Endy, Sarto came back to 3-4. A questionable offside goal and an offside chance brought the tension back for a moment. Only briefly, because immediately after the kickoff Endy determined the final score at 3-5. The spies from Willem II were already present as they look forward somewhat nervously to the topper in 2 weeks' time PSV - Willem II.
Boys, Trainers and Supervisors congratulations again. Enjoy a wonderful autumn vacation and on to the topper in two weeks time at home against Willem II.
