PSV O19 opens league with win

At PSV Campus De Herdgang, PSV O19 opened the league with a home match against ADO Den Haag. Ruud van Nistelrooy's team came back from a deficit to take three points.

In the first half things were not going well and not many chances were created. Surprisingly, ADO Den Haag took the lead. PSV did not give up and despite a difficult first half they equalized. After a nice pass from Madueke, Kjolo crossed for Sambo who made it 1-1 via a Hague leg. The O19 could have taken the lead as well, but Kreekels' header hit the crossbar.

After halftime, PSV wanted to push on and get their first win. There were chances, but they were not always on target. A cross from Sambo fell on the crossbar and Kjolo's shot was blocked. Moments later the lead was still there. After good headers by Van Duivenbooden, Antonisse poked Madueke away, who passed the goalkeeper and scored PSV's second goal. The same Noni Madueke was close to the decision just before time, but after a good action he aimed just wide of the goal.

Thus, PSV O19 wins its first match of the season. Next weekend they will visit FC Utrecht. This match starts at 14.30 hours.
