Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played Feyenoord O.16 in the quarterfinals of the cup.
In the beginning of the match it was a matter of probing on the badly playable pitch.
Good football was hardly possible and the game was mainly played in midfield.
PSV took the lead in the 22nd min. From a corner by Dante Rigo, Kaan Tanriver headed the ball in at the 2nd post.
8 min. before the halftime signal, PSV had to continue with 10 players. Gaetan Bosiers made hands on the goal line. The ball was already behind the goal line but the referee stuck to his decision: red card and a penalty. The penalty was taken.

In the second half, PSV had to pull out all the stops to prevent a goal against. Thanks to good goalkeeping by Youri Roulaux it stayed 1-1.
PSV was impotent with 10 players.
5 min. before the end of the match Lennerd Daneels took a free kick on the left side of the pitch. His incoming cross was missed by everyone and fell in to the far corner.
In injury time it even went 1-3. After Joey Konings had a good run through, he collided with the Feyenoord goalie. Everyone thought it was a back ball, but to everyone's surprise the referee gave PSV a penalty. Joey Konings took the penalty.
Final score 1-3
Next Saturday PSV O.17 plays the league match in Eindhoven against AZ O.17.
