PSV O17 - FC Volendam O17: 3 - 0

After last Friday's disappointing defeat it is today to put this right and show that last week was a one-time slip. Once again the weather gods are cooperating well.

The beginning is a bit messy and still searching for the fixed patterns in our game. Also today we have a very young group at our disposal partly due to injuries of several players who normally belong to our selection. We need about half an hour to really get dangerous in front of the Volendam goal. But then it is a direct hit. It is Jeremy who finishes after a good push by Nigel and brings the score to 1-0. Shortly afterwards it was Jeremy again who pushed forward and shot the ball into the bottom right corner from outside the penalty area. 2-0.

After the break we want to remove all uncertainty and after one minute of play Jeremy passes the ball well and it is Milan who puts an end to all uncertainty and puts the 3-0 on the scoreboard. Then the game went up and down a bit, but we didn't create any real chances. On the other hand, we didn't give anything away and Volendam didn't get a single chance. The referee blows the whistle after 80 minutes and the three points stay in Eindhoven.

Next week the away game to N.E.C. For all the injured get well and everyone have a nice weekend.
