The report

Wednesday, Feb. 13, PSV's O15 team traveled to Amsterdam to face AFC in the eighth finals of the cup. This amateur club has been playing at a high level for years and has delivered many players to professional football. The Eindhoven players should not underestimate this match.

The beginning was fine for PSV. In the first ten minutes it already had four opportunities to open the score. The Eindhoven players played the ball around patiently in search of that one hole in the erected red-black wall. And after exactly fifteen minutes of play it found that hole through Shi-jon Martina. He was played in by Iggy Houben, dribbled in and shot the ball with his right hand into the bottom right corner: 0-1. After half an hour of play, Shi-jon was behind the 0-2 when he played to the deep Matteo Dams. Matteo passed the ball well and Jesper Uneken shot the 0-2. With this score both teams went to the locker room.

After halftime, the level of play dropped slightly. Jesper hit the Amsterdam goalie in the 44th minute, after which AFC had the only opportunity of the match by shooting the ball hard over and wide. In the last ten minutes, PSV went on to win 0-5. After an assist from Livano Comenencia, Chahid el Allachi scored the third Eindhoven goal in the 61st minute. And a minute later he lifted the score to 0-4. In injury time, Iggy Houben put the final score on the scoreboard. Jesper Uneken tried to score with an overhead kick, but his effort hit the crossbar and the rebound was kicked into the net by Iggy.

Thus, PSV won this match relatively easily and qualified for the last eight in the cup. Who the opponent will be in that is not yet known at this time. There are still a few more matches to be played after which the draw will take place.
