Report:
After last week's star-studded match against MVV, a weak draw against Roda JC now followed. PSV D1 played uninspired and dutiful, Roda JC on the other hand was just too weak. Roda JC did try to strike early, hobbled along for a long time and PSV forgot to score due to sloppy finishing. PSV's opening goal fell - again just before halftime - after a (clever) quickly taken free kick. After clear talk in the locker room at halftime, PSV played somewhat better in the 2nd half, but still without really convincing. The score - after the necessary substitutions - eventually went up quite easily in the nice autumn sunshine at Kaalheide. The counter eventually stopped at 5. In summary; a regular victory in a saltless game of football. Since closest pursuer MVV (on one point) made no mistake against FC Den Bosch, PSV did not become "Autumn Champions" (yet).
