Seven-goal win for PSV O13
After the good midweek victory over Ajax, PSV O13 recorded another win. At Papendal they defeated Vitesse 1-7.
One minute into the match, PSV was already cheering. Jari Horsten had a corner, which was well headed in by Sami Bouhoudane. Not much later, however, the score was level when Vitesse also put a corner behind the PSV goalkeeper. The Eindhoven natives did not let their guard down and quickly regained the lead in wonderful fashion. Benjamin Khaderi played Isaï Middag free on the edge of the penalty area, who then found Dichano Bulo. The right-winger did not hesitate and shot cleverly inside. PSV continued to improve and made it 1-3 ten minutes later. Dichano Bulo put good pressure on the goalkeeper, who lost the ball to the PSV attacker. It was then a breeze for Sami Bouhoudane to score his second goal. Just before halftime, the striker completed his hat-trick by heading in another corner. This 1-4 was also the score at halftime.
Right after the break, PSV had another great chance when Sami Bouhoudane appeared one-on-one in front of the goalkeeper. The striker got the ball past the goalkeeper, but it also disappeared just past the post. Not much later the 1-5 came: Jari Horsten sent Dichano Bulo deep, who kept calm and slid the ball inside. PSV continued to play well and created a few more chances, but Joep Willems and Benjamin Khaderi among others saw their attempts stopped by the Vitesse goalkeeper. Jari Horsten had more success: the psv U21 player shot the ball over the goalkeeper from long range to make it 1-6. In injury time, the midfielder repeated this trick, completing PSV's seven-goal haul in identical fashion.
So another fine victory for PSV O13, which managed to create some fine opportunities with good play. Next week the team of Hidde van Boven plays a home match when Sparta Rotterdam comes to visit. This match starts at 11:00 am.
