The report
Just like last week also this week a double program for PSV O13. On Wednesday an away game to FC Den Bosch, which ended with a 2-3 victory. And on Saturday a disappointing 1-1, achieved in Kerkrade at Roda JC.
On Wednesday a postponed league match against FC Den Bosch. The field did not help to play good football, so we got a game with a lot of fight. PSV took the lead as early as the first minute, through Renzo Tytens, who outsmarted everyone and scored in a controlled manner. But a few minutes later Den Bosch equalized again, due to mistakes in the back of PSV. A few minutes later it was again PSV that took the lead. Tim van de Heuvel scored this time. Yet Den Bosch managed to equalize before halftime, a distance shot fell just under the crossbar. PSV goalkeeper Harm Sigmans had no chance on this ball.
After halftime the same picture, not a good game but a lot of fight. Yet it was PSV that managed to get the victory. In the 47th minute it was Khaled Rhazak, who headed a corner at the first post. After this goal, PSV kept hunting for a bigger lead. But the ball did not go in. So 3 points back to Eindhoven, and prepare for the next match.
On Saturday we had to travel to Roda JC. Again a bad pitch, so again no good football. PSV dominated, but again they were not careful with the chances. PSV did manage to become dangerous from some dead games. So it was not surprising that they would score from a standard simulation. A corner just in front of the goal was tapped in by Renzo Tytens. So with a lead, PSV went to rest.
In the second half, PSV was again the better team, but Roda continued to lurk for a breakaway. One of the few times the Limburgers appeared in front of the PSV goal it was a goal. After this the game went up and down, but both sides did not score. With this draw, PSV managed to secure fourth place on the league table. Now, next Wednesday awaits a tough away game to Breda. After that the competition is over for PSV O13. After this there will be some big international tournaments, and then they can start getting ready for a new season with the O14.
