The report

Under very wet conditions we started the race for the championship trophy away from Vitesse. The problem from before the winter break continued again. With seven injured base players in the stands and four base players moved on to the O19, we were going to try to bring home the points with a very youthful team.

What we did see from the beginning was a team that wanted to fight with each other and was also ahead of the game. No one failed and everyone did their job. Unfortunately, we went behind after four minutes, because Vitesse managed to score from a free kick with a header. But we kept fighting. Despite being young, we didn't give up easily. Just before time, the score was still 1-0, so we still had hope for a better result and we did.

Unfortunately, two minutes before time, again from a free kick, Vitesse managed to outsmart our goalkeeper and make it 2-0.

Unfortunately no points while we definitely deserved a point. However, we can be proud of the way we showed ourselves and this certainly offers starting points for the coming games in the race for the scale.
