    Easy victory for PSV O13

In the second league game of the season, PSV O13 achieved its first victory. The team did not give away a single chance and as it eventually managed to score five goals itself, a 5-0 final score stood on the scoreboard after 70 minutes.

PSV started the match brightly and took the lead after eight minutes. After a corner by Shuryjano Cornecion, Fabian Merien towered over his direct opponent and with a hard header the defender put his team ahead.

Ten minutes later, the second Eindhoven goal also fell, when Gennaro van der Sluis was released from a corner kick. With a volley the striker doubled the score. Even after these goals, PSV remained the better side, without creating very big chances. Shuryjano Cornecion was dangerous, but the midfielder was just too far forward to be effective. Yet just before halftime it was 3-0. From another corner kick by Shuryjano Cornecion, Samuel Dumbili headed the ball into the far corner.

The second half was barely underway when PSV managed to find the net again. Shuryjano Cornecion snatched the ball away from the Vitesse defense, rounded the goalkeeper and was able to calmly slide it in. The Eindhoveners went in search of more goals, but initially failed to do so. For example, Fabian Merien was dangerous after a corner kick and Liam Slaats saw his goal disallowed due to offside. In the final minute, Liam Slaats scored a goal. Noah Fernandez captured the ball on the flank and played it back to the striker, who calmly slotted the ball in. Shortly after this goal, the referee on duty ended the match, where the Eindhoven talents easily managed to put their opponent Vitesse aside.

Next week the team plays another home game. Opponent is then the Rotterdam Excelsior. The match will start at 12:30 pm.
