PSV O13 shows resilience and beats FC Utrecht

At their own Herdgang, PSV O13 recorded a victory. After a 0-1 halftime score, the team recovered after the break and recorded a 2-1 win.

PSV did not start the first half well and were soon presented with the bill. A deep ball from the Utrecht defense was well controlled by the striker and cleverly lobbed inside. The Eindhoven players had a hard time with the game of FC Utrecht and were lucky that it did not become 0-2 immediately. A Utrecht player went free on goal, but a strong block by Michael Bresser ensured that the margin remained just one. After twenty minutes, PSV got into the game better. This immediately resulted in chances, but Eus Waayers and Jayden Ettienne did not have their sights set straight. Thus both teams went to rest with a 0-1 score.

After tea, PSV continued to create chances. Eus Waayers , Robin van Duiven and Jayden Ettienne all had chances in the same attack, but each time the FC Utrecht goalkeeper stood in the way. After ten minutes, however, he was defenseless on a shot by Robin van Duiven. The striker received the ball from Jayden Ettienne and slid the ball in a controlled manner into the far corner. Five minutes later he scored again. After a corner, the ball ended up at the feet of Joep Vermeulen, 25 meters from the goal. The midfielder did not hesitate in shooting the ball tightly into the cross. After this 2-1, PSV had chances for more, but they were not taken advantage of. After an hour of play the result was 2-1.

A good and deserved victory for PSV O13, who remained calm after a deficit and recovered well in the second half. Next Tuesday the team plays its last home game of the season, when Ajax comes to visit.
