Today the home match against ADO Den Haag, the only team lost to in the first half of the league. Despite the heavy snowfall, PSV has done everything possible to clear the pitch of snow and the match can kick off, albeit with a half-hour delay.
Tim Wolf 's team was on top from the first whistle and wanted to end this match with a good result. After several good opportunities, the opening goal came in the fifth minute. Jaivy Louwers slid the ball in after the ADO goalkeeper missed a cross from Chahid El Allachi. Moments later it also becomes 2-0, through Jesper Uneken who heads in a free kick from Milan Govaers. PSV remains the superior side after this lead, but is sloppy with the chances. That gives ADO the space to get back into the game via a penalty kick: 2-1. Luc Netten allegedly got the ball against the arm. PSV then failed to put the game away before half-time, hitting the post twice.
ADO comes out of the locker room well, but Kjell Peersman keeps PSV on their feet with some good saves. At that point, the game was going back and forth. In the 57th minute, Sven Simons fired a free kick from 25 meters low over the ground directly at goal. Jaivy stepped over the ball, which the ADO goalkeeper saw coming late and therefore had no chance: 3-1. The game seems to be over and after a nice attack over several sections Chahid also scores a goal: 4-1. ADO does a little bit back (4-2) and when everyone thinks that this will be the result, Shijon Martina makes it 5-2 with a nice solo. The final chord was scored by Ruben van Bommel. Via a fast breakaway he slid the ball past the goalkeeper with the outside of his shoe. With a 6-2 final score, both teams go to the dressing room. Next week PSV O13 will play an away match against NAC Breda.
