Final placement is possible today. Roda, the number last in the rankings, comes to the Herdgang.
On paper, this should be ....enz etc.
But we need to take the points. Drizzling weather, few spectators and an opponent that is not very motivating.
We can actually be very short about the whole match. We score the 1-0 pretty quickly and then for about half an hour little action and then the 2-0 and then we slump.
And I don't mean we slump and defend but we really slump. Like a pudding.
Just before halftime Roda scored the second goal. Halftime 2-1.
A small embarrassment I might say.
We picked it up after the break and Justin and Michal managed to increase the score to 5-1, a reasonable score from our point of view but in all honesty it should have been 11-1.
Or actually 11-0.
But that's how it is. We win, three points in Eindhoven and placement in the champions' pool is final.
So after the winter break the following teams will be our opponents on our way to the ultimate goal of this season: The Bowl. Ajax, Willem II, Sparta, Feyenoord, AZ, NEC, Fc Utrecht.
We know what to do.
