UNA started the match brightly and it took some time before PSV had an answer to this. After 10 minutes, PSV started to get better into the match. PSV's first serious attack was immediately effective. In the 18th minute the UNA defense was outplayed and from close range Quinn was able to score the 1-0. PSV got a better grip on the match after this. In the 25th minute it was Yorbe who played himself free with a good action. His shot into the far corner made it 2-0. This was also the score at halftime.

In the second half PSV maintained their advantage without really creating any chances. The UNA defense held firm and PSV tried to extend the score with distance shots, but without success. In the 55th minute, Yorbe slalomed through the UNA defense. He shot the ball impeccably into the corner (3-0). In injury time UNA managed to do something back. Due to sloppy defending a player of UNA got free in front of the goalie and scored (3-1).

In this match, PSV created few chances. However, PSV was effective with the few opportunities to score. Apart from the goal against, nothing was given away.
