A match everyone had been looking forward to for weeks. Our group was eager to play this match and that was certainly visible on the pitch.
Despite a somewhat lesser phase in the beginning, it was mainly PSV that dominated the match and deservedly stepped off the field as the winner. It was Ajax that took a 0-1 lead very early in the match after a well played attack. Our boys have proven before that they can react as a team in the face of adversity. So today they certainly did. Even before halftime it became 2-1 through 2 goals from an excellent playing Amar ( all game). Half-time score 2-1.
The second half was also for PSV. There was a phase where Ajax had a bit more ball possession but PSV was defending well as a team so they did not become dangerous. PSV, on the other hand, did. With well played attacks and being careful in finishing, we scored 3 more goals. Compliments to all the players who show every week that this is a talented group. Final score 5-1.
