In the second league match the opponent is RKTVC from Tiel. This team lost the first game 3-1 to FC Den Bosch and is an unknown opponent. The average size of the opponent is again larger than ours today, but after a year in the D-league we are not impressed anymore. After fifteen minutes of waiting for the referee, the game can start at 11:00. PSV tries to find the free man from behind and the first good attack is set up through the left side. Although PSV is in possession of the ball in the early stages, it is difficult to reach the forwards. Tiel is playing nicely in the early stages and the fast striker can barely be stopped and a free kick by Tiel goes outside the post. After a minute in ten, PSV gets the help of the Tiel goalkeeper. He chokes when he sees Greg in front of him. He was able to get the ball out of the goalkeeper and work the 1-0 in. PSV threw off all their shyness and the training forms became visible. The deepest midfielders are getting better away from their opponents and there is room to combine. From that moment on, a team is playing and that is PSV. More chances begin to appear. Greg places a header just wide of the goal. In the 16th minute Remco sends Davy away and he passes the ball well. While Joop mows over the ball, it reaches Arne, but his shot goes against the goalkeeper. A few minutes later a deep ball from Koen to Greg who goes to the keeper from the side, but he too shoots at the keeper. So it still remains only 1-0. In the 23rd minute the next chance presents itself, this is even a double chance. A nice pass from Mo to Greg who passes well, but the two men in front of the goal just don't make it. Joop takes over the attack and like Joop can, plays his opponent out and passes to Davy who shoots wide. While I am writing this down, Arne shoots the 2-0. Apparently the rearguard had misjudged the disruptive Greg. After again problems in the Tiel backline, Greg even scores the 3-0 just before half time, which seems to decide the game.
Also in the second half, PSV is clearly in control. Through a good attack on the right side, where Joey, Joop and Arne found each other well, Joop was set free by Arne. However, Joop's lob now goes just over, while during the week's rehearsals they did fall in. The fourth goal comes quickly after all. About seven minutes into the second half, it is Davy who goes through on the left side and finds Sem at the first post, who taps it in, hindered by his opponent. When PSV gets a free kick 3 minutes later after a foul on Rico, it is Davy who taps the ball to Arne. Arne thinks quickly and shoots the ball into the top corner from 20 meters. It is then waiting until the 18th minute until there is another goal threat. After a good attack by Bryan, Joop put Arne in front of the goalkeeper, but he was unable to score. The best seems to be gone from both sides. Still PSV can get their 6th goal in the last minute. After a good cross from Niels, Sem taps the ball on the wrong side of the post, making it 5-0. Just like last week, cleverly kept the 0, with Kyan and Edson virtually unemployed. Also like last week, a few more goals could have been added. But yes, after two league wins and a goal difference of 12-0 you are off to a good start as the Belgians say.
