  1. Match report

On the Friday afternoon at 17:00 played the match away against Vitesse O17, against a motivated Vitesse, but PSV managed to take over quickly. Vitesse actually came up against a PSV from 1st minute where Vitesse had no answer to, PSV was just much better in all aspects.

In the 11 minute it was Armando Obispo who headed the 0-1 in from a corner and some time later in the 16 minute there was a two with Gody Gakpo and Gianluca Scamacca and Gianluca Scamacca shot the 0-2 in, which was a relief for him as he was constantly being tackled hard by his direct opponent. After that came a nice attack with Justin Lonwijk and Gianluca Scamacca, Gianluca Scamacca shot at first against the goalkeeper but in the rebound was Gianluca Scamacca who brought the ball to 0-3.

Vitesse went far back in their own half after the 0-3 to keep the damage as small as possible.

The second half started basically the same as the first half, but it was clear to see that Vitesse's coach had instructed them to be tougher in the duels, but PSV were able to cope well with that. In the 54th minute, again from a corner was a header by Joel Piroe that made it 0-4. Moments later it was Armando Obispo who slipped and that allowed Vitesse to shoot the 1-4, and moments later Vitesse got an unclear penalty so Vitesse brought the final score to 2-4.

The first half was of a high level by PSV the second half was actually far too sloppy due to the many breaks.
