Match report:
JVOZ has become a tough opponent for PSV in recent years. PSV may not have had a "cakewalk" to JVOZ, but today they still recorded a regular and certainly not overbearing victory. From the kickoff, JVOZ disrupted the PSV build-up early on. In fact, JVOZ very boldly wanted to pin PSV down on their own half. PSV was not exactly impressed and played away from this pressure relatively easily. Indeed, in lightning fast attacks, PSV scored twice before halftime and wasted at least as many nice chances. In the 2nd half, the spectators initially saw a similar pattern of play. PSV immediately missed 2 opportunities. And then, out of nowhere, JVOZ scored a nice goal. Whoever then thought of a storm from Zeeland on the JVOZ side, was disappointed. PSV - still unimpressed - immediately accelerated again and very controlled increased the score to 5-1 and thus made the JVOZ connection goal a proverbial "storm in a glass of water." Although I still don't know the value of the title, I congratulate the D1 team with the title "Herbstmeister", and that still without losing any points. A very sterling performance so far.
