Feyenoord visiting always guarantees a fun game of football. Just like today. The crowd enjoyed a nice game that could go either way. Feyenoord started strongly but could not capitalize on the chances. The best chances are ours but we lack sharpness and are a bit sloppy in finishing. Feyenoord also got some chances to finish off their attacks but again the problem is the same as with us.
After the break Feyenoord come out of the break a little better and get a few chances but each time it is Yannick who manages to stop their attack and keeps his goal clean. But after almost 70 minutes it is a goal when Idrissi of Feyenoord makes an action in the penalty area and is put down. Penalty. Jari Schuurman gets behind the ball and manages to beat Yannick. Now we have to hunt for the equalizer. There are some changes in the team and the balls are thrown in front of the Feyenoord goal with a bit more regularity. Feyenoord got away well a couple of times but then four minutes before the end a ball in the penalty area was hit by several players but lastly Ryan was alert and smashed the ball into the ropes. 1 - 1.
For both sides this result is acceptable but today one team could have gone home with the win. A little more sharpness in front of the goal and you reward yourself with three points. This goes for both teams.
