  1. Match report

Today the competition finally starts again for the O12. After a tournament in the wind and rain in Rosmalen and a friendly match against Willem II, today the battle for points starts again. The first opponent is the derby against our friends from Helmond who are guests at "de Herdgang". Also in the autumn league Helmond Sport was one of PSV O-12's opponents, then it became 2-2 after a 2-0 lead. PSV was thus warned that it was not going to be an easy task.
The first 10 minutes Helmond was clearly the superior side, PSV could not get the ball forward, because HS put very high pressure it was difficult for PSV to get out well. In the 10th minute PSV took the lead against the odds, from the first corner PSV got a goal, Jesse went forward with the ball and headed it in, via a Helmond player the ball went over the goal line 1-0. After this liberating goal PSV showed they had more qualities than Helmond. The play became much better, in the 16th minute it was Mylian who managed to get a deep pass behind the Helmond defense, Gioele started just in time from his own half so it was not offside and managed to win the 1:1 with the goalkeeper 2-0, with this score the break was also reached, there were still some chances for PSV but the ball did not cross the goal line anymore.
In the second half the same picture as in the second part of the first half, a better footballing PSV, but Helmond Sport always looking for the tying goal. 2 minutes after halftime it was Mylian who turned free from position and curled the ball into the cross. 3-0. In the 47 minute Helmond got a penalty, Lander managed to touch it with his fingertips but unfortunately not enough to make it 3-1. 2 Minutes later also the 2nd goal for Helmond, this time from a corner, the ball was nicely headed in 3-2, would it be like last time that PSV let Helmond get back in the game by thinking too lightly, no, not this time again, 2 minutes later PSV brought the difference back to 2 goals by a nice tip over the goalkeeper by Joey.
Except for the first 10 minutes it was PSV that dominated the field, and with regular good play. Now first carnival and then an away game to Excelsior.
