Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played the away match against FC Utrecht O.17.
On a very bumpy field there was a true battle for every ball.
From combination football it was hardly possible to create chances.
PSV was close to the opening goal from a corner but the ball was cleared off the line.
Half-time score 0-0
In the second half, PSV pressed a little more. Lennerd Daneels hit the post with a distance shot.
But it was FC Utrecht that took the lead in the 63rd minute. In the first instance Mike van den Meulenhof was able to save the ball, but in the rebound he had no chance. 1-0
PSV did not give up and played all or nothing in the final phase with opportunistic football.
This attitude was rewarded. Well into injury time, PSV scored the deserved equalizer.
Kaan Tanriver scored from close range after a scrimmage in front of the goal.
Final score 1-1.
Next Saturday, PSV O.17 will play a home match against Feyenoord O.17.
