PSV F1- De Valk F1 14-0
How mentally and strong are the youngest PSV players.
Wednesday we played a fantastic tournament in Genk. Tired, but very satisfied this tournament ended with a win.
Today 6-11-2010 there were 2 more top games on the agenda.
PSV F2 at home against Eindhoven F1 and PSV F1 at home against De Valk F1.
Unfortunately for the F2 the match was cancelled due to heavy rainfall, but the boys were able to train under the guidance of trainer Rick.
The PSV F1 had a true derby against De Valk F1 from Valkenswaard and given the risk of this match our visitors had to make use of the so-called bus combi arrangement.
During the Yell the visitors appeared to have title aspirations, so our boys were warned.
The match started well for PSV, Jeremy shot the goalkeeper who let go of the ball and captain Nigel was quick to take advantage of the opportunity, 1-0.
By now the engine has warmed up and so has my pen ink.
2-0 Genrich with a nice individual action. 3-0 Jur deflected ball and a nice shot. One-two between Nigel and Genrich and the latter scores 4-0.
5-0 shot by Nigel after which Jeremy simply tapped in. At the back no presents were given "the wall" led by Bram, Thomas and D'Leanu remained hermetically sealed for the strikers of De Valk.
For Peter our goalkeeper this was also a nice game to start after several weeks of absence. Despite all the competition Peter was allowed to start right away in the starting line-up and kept a fine game.
6-0 at halftime with counter goals from Nigel and Jeremy.
Coach Willen had prepared his team well for this match and the 2nd half will also require discipline.
Kick-off 2nd half ball played to all PSV players, without even one De Valk player getting in the way 7-0 Jeremy.
Where have we seen this before final 1974 Netherlands-Germany, unfortunately for the Netherlands final score 1-2.
Well back to the present.
Ready for a 2nd pen. 8-0 beautiful shot by Jur, 9-0,10-0 beautifully shot in by Thomas, 11-0 point-blank Jeremy, 12-0 distance shot Bram, 13-0 Thomas and then Jeremy signs for his last goal 14-0 and immediately also the end of this match.
As a supporter, parent and spectator it was great fun again and today we were spoiled as usual.
