Yanick van Osch - Man of the Match (stops a penalty kick and has decisive saves)

1st Half

PSV started this match well, with fine attacking football our team got a penalty kick in the early stages which Junior Dos Santos failed to exploit.
A few minutes later Willem2 was the one who unjustly made it 0-1. Then it became a sloppy game with a lot of ball loss from both sides.
This caused many switch moments and many duels, this cost the players a lot of energy.
It then took a very long time until PSV got a grip on the match again. Fortunately for PSV, Kenneth Paal scored the 1-1 draw shortly before halftime.

2nd half

In the second half PSV started the game well, our play was rewarded with a good goal by Bob Groenedijk.
Unfortunately we are not able to keep up this level of play for long, PSV's attacking play becomes sloppy again and many players have a poor defensive performance.
Willem2 takes advantage of this and scores the 2-2. PSV went looking for the win, with some small chances from Dani, Junior and Kenneth PSV could have scored more goals.
Willem2 was dangerous a few times through the counter or at times when our players made individual mistakes.
Both teams ended this match with one point.
