    The Report

After the disappointing defeats in the last two games in the championship pool, we don't really play finals anymore. They are more like semifinals. After the resurgence in the game against N.E.C., a semifinal for the cup, the recovery set in. Playing finals is indeed difficult, as we saw again on Sunday afternoon in men's football.

Today the opponent is Willem II and this is another dangerous opponent considering Willem II's results in recent weeks. We start brightly and we see something of the aggression and will to win again. We are the better team today. Before half time we score twice, once from a nice attack completed by Justin. The second goal came from a corner by Lennerd. Although the referee put the blame for this goal on Willem II's goalkeeper. But of course we are not sad about that.

After halftime, we continued to draw from the same keg and Joey and again Justin managed to take the score to 4-0. A well-deserved victory, perhaps a little too low. Willem II did not get a single chance today and are empty-handed at a quarter to four. Now three more semifinals in the championship race and then lastly the final. And that is the cup final. Opponent is not yet known but after next week we will know more.

Lineup: Van de Meulenhof, Teze, Soulas, Obispo, Bannani, Sadilek, Daneels, Fernandes, Konings (68th Kun), Lonwijk (78th Schoonbrood) and Gakpo.
