O17 books nice win over Feyenoord

The weather conditions were suitable for a nice game of football between PSV O17 and Feyenoord O17. And that was also visible on the pitch. There was a team, a team that wanted to fight for every meter. The team was fierce and fanatical and they made each other better, a joy to watch.

O17 wanted to get a good result today. Especially with a view to Wednesday evening, when they will travel to Rotterdam again for the semi-finals of the cup. Confidence had to be restored and in the first twenty minutes chances were created immediately, but unfortunately they were missed. After 37 minutes an attack on the left was defended by Feyenoord, but the ball ended up at the feet of Kees. He took the ball on his flick from outside the penalty area and it hit the ropes. What a goal and what an emotion. Everyone ran to share the joy.

At halftime, noses were turned back in the same direction as far as necessary. In the second half, PSV continued where it ended in the first half. After five minutes a corner was headed away by Feyenoord, Naïm returned the ball directly into the penalty area and Mathijs rose above all defenders to head in the 0-2. PSV tried to score from time to time, but Feyenoord were also dangerous, but goalkeeper Peter stood his ground. After 84 minutes the referee whistled for the end and we booked a nice win in Rotterdam.

With a bag full of confidence, we boarded the bus to return Wednesday for the cup semifinals. There Feyenoord will have to be beaten again to add some luster to the season.
