Match report:
PSV played today against a rival with the least passed defense to date. PSV played patiently, with great concentration and almost without faults against a well-grouped and disciplined FC Den Bosch. PSV had almost 80% ball possession, but hardly got through the sturdy FC Den Bosch defense. Today the opening apparently had to come from an individual action. At the stroke of half-time PSV scored after a brilliant individual action.
Also in the 2nd half the same pattern of play. PSV dictated events on the field and FC Den Bosch lurked on PSV's mistakes. But, FC Den Bosch eventually made the mistakes themselves and PSV took full advantage of these misses. Within 2 minutes the match was definitely played. After PSV lost the ball in midfield, FC Den Bosch scored an undeserved goal. Only for the statistics, because the final chord was for PSV, 4-1. Three finals to go and then the spoils are in.
