Last Friday, PSV O.17 played the home match against Feyenoord O.17.
After a scanning opening phase, the 1st half went evenly.
In the 20th min Feyenoord scored 0-1. PSV could not clear the ball from their own goal and the no.10 of Feyenoord was able to work the ball into the goal. The referee pointed to the center spot.
Half-time score 0-1.
PSV started the second half very strongly. Several opportunities were created with good football. The best chance was for Matthias Verreth. After a good run through the goalkeeper he was able to shoot the ball into an empty goal but his effort hit the inside of the post.
Unfortunately, PSV could not express the field advantage in a goal.
In the 59th minute Feyenoord found themselves up 0-2 against the odds. PSV failed to clear a cross. PSV's goalkeeper Lasse Mikkelsen did not look good in dealing with the cross. On the goal line, a PSV defender was unable to save and shot the ball into his own goal.
In the remaining part of the match, PSV was unable to score.
Final score 0-2.
