Today the first game of the 2nd half of the competition will be played and the opponent will be RKVVO, the team with the two girls who, by the way, stand their ground. The away game was won 8-2, which was a bit flattering, but even then it was clear that this is a team that plays good football and is not afraid to go on the attack. The first chance in the match is for PSV. Arne passes to Jay on the right and his cross is headed just wide by Gregory. A few minutes later, Greg again had his shot blocked and the ball rolled just wide. It takes until the 5th minute before PSV takes the lead. Joey intercepts the ball, slips between two opponents and with a typical Joey shot (the ball swirls a bit) the ball falls into the top corner 1-0. PSV kept up the pressure on the goal and a shot by Arne after a dribble went just over. Then it is Jay who shoots after a good action in the short corner, but the goalkeeper gets his hand in between. In the 10th minute Davy was played in from behind and made his move from the sideline. His shot was initially turned away by the goalkeeper and landed at the feet of Jay, who also had his shot blocked. Greg remained calm, rounded the goalkeeper and put the ball into the goal 2-0. RKVVO is still not really dangerous and with good intervention from Rico and Joey they try to get past Pepijn with shots from the 2nd line, but they need more. It takes until the 16th minute when Tijn and Joey make a good attack to reach Jay and his cross is headed just wide by Greg. Just before half time another good attack on the left via Rico and Jay who find Joey. Joey takes another devastating shot and from about 20 meters the ball falls over the goalkeeper into the goal, making it 3-0 at halftime.
After halftime it was a bit of a search again. A few distance shots by Davy and Arne are either parried by the keeper or go just wide. We have to wait until the 5th minute when PSV gets a free kick on the halfway line. Arne puts himself behind the ball and shoots the ball from the center line between a few players in a time (that's how the Belgians say it). After 4-0 RKVVO started to play more and became more dangerous. Not paying attention to a throw-in and a RKVVO player could take a shot at the goal. Pepijn saved skilfully at first, but was unable to convert the rebound. Immediately after this goal Tijn went on an adventure on the right side and found Arne. His failed shot fell to Greg, who tapped in his 2nd goal.
Now it is RKVVO's turn again and after a through ball through the middle Pepijn has to show his skills. Then it's PSV's turn again and after a good action by Jay, Tijn's shot is stopped by the goalkeeper. A little later Rico finds the goalkeeper on his way after a shot from the second line. Moments later a good cross from Jay is just headed wide by Davy. RKVVO also becomes dangerous again and via a good shot they score the 5-2. It looks like the last 5 minutes are over for our boys, because a little later Pepijn has to act again by tapping a ball out of the bottom corner. In the last minute Joey goes on another adventure on the right side. After a slalom between some players, his cross is worked into his own goal by a RKVVO player, bringing the final score to 6-2.
