PSV crushes Dordrecht

PSV played the home game against lowly ranked Dordrecht on Saturday. The match reflected the results of both teams in the first league rounds, as evidenced by the result: 7-0.

PSV was dominant and controlled the entire match, although for quite some time this was not reflected in the score. More than half an hour had already been played when PSV managed to open the scoring. 'Occasional' central defender Koen put occasional rapper Jamal in front of the goalkeeper, who was able to pick a corner at his leisure, 1-0. PSV went into halftime with that modest score.

PSV, however, came out of the locker room sharper with the task of scoring more goals. And that was not to deaf ears. Within 5 minutes Jaivy shot hard cross the 2-0 from Shi-jon, followed a minute later by the 3-0 from Ruben who shot decisively when Jamal sent him towards the goalkeeper. The 4-0 then came in the name of Chahid after a good assist from Seb. And the 5-0 was perhaps the best of the afternoon, if only because it differed from all the other goals which all came from a combination. PSV also showed they could counter with lightning speed after Dordrecht lost the ball. From his own half, Sven sent Mido towards the Dordrecht goal with a great pass. The striker shook off two defenders with power and speed and gave himself free rein to head towards the Dordrecht goal, before fending off the outflowing keeper from the edge of the penalty area with a controlled and controlled ball into the right corner, 5-0. Shi-jon, who had already provided an assist for the 2-0, scored two more goals of his own, 6-0 after a cross from Mido, and 7-0 after an assist from Sven.

A fine victory for O16, which so far managed to win all home games 7-0. Now for the away games. PSV plays the catch-up game against FC Twente at home next Tuesday at 17:00.
