Draw in exciting topper
After three wins, PSV O13 lost for the first time. In Rotterdam, the team took the lead twice against Feyenoord, but equalized just before time.
Although the Eindhoven players started hesitantly, the opening goal did come on the board after ten minutes. Sami Bouhoudane passed his opponent on the flank and got the ball back at his feet via a tangle. For the striker it was a piece of cake to calmly slide it in. Moments later Gino Verhulst got another chance to double the score, but his shot was too weak to surprise the goalkeeper. PSV O13 were well positioned at the back, but still got a goal halfway through the first half. A Feyenoord midfielder got free and shot the ball in from long range. As both teams failed to create any more chances in the course of the first half, both teams went into the dressing room with a 1-1 draw.
After half time, PSV O13 opened strongly. The team had several good chances through Sami Bouhoudane, Isaï Middag and Joep Willems, but failed to pull the trigger. Isaï Middag finally did, five minutes before time. The midfielder played himself free and shot the ball hard behind the Feyenoord goalkeeper. The Rotterdammers equalized right from the kickoff, however, when PSV failed to clear the ball at the back and the striker was able to tap it in from the clear. PSV pressed on, but they were unable to create any real danger. As a result, PSV had to settle for a draw.
So for PSV O13 this means, after a beautiful and exciting match, a point against Feyenoord. On Tuesday the team plays the next topper, when it visits Ajax (kick-off 18:15 hrs).
