The report

After a few weeks without matches due to various circumstances, today it was finally time to get back on the field. Vitesse was the opponent. All circumstances are good. The weather is beautiful the crowd is present and curious about our performance. The only downside might be the preparation but we will see if this is true.

The referee whistles for the start and then things move quickly. Within one minute and 20 seconds it is already a goal. A Vitesse attack over the left is finished off and the deficit is there. Roll up your sleeves and start again you would say and Vitesse did just that. After ten minutes there is some lingering in the goal area or rather on the goal line and the Vitesse player takes advantage and the 0-2 is a fact.

After the break we indeed want to do things differently, even after the trainer's speech in the dressing room. Just within the hour it is again Vitesse that comes towards our goal and is again effective. 0-3. In the further course of the match we do not manage to turn the tide anymore and thus get a hopeless defeat on our plate. What is more worrying is that there are several of our players (normally they are usually the opponents) who have to leave the game with cramps, fatigue and other injuries. And so, after the allowed five substitutions, we end the match with nine players.

Unfortunately men, today was not our day. But next week we will get another chance and then, then we will definitely correct this slip up.
