Match report:
PSV D1 all don't care about playing on a good pitch, bad pitch or artificial turf. PSV D1 also seemingly don't care at all about which formation is played in. The goal, the will and the ambition remain the same.
Similarly against the always tricky NAC on a bad pitch.
The opponent was put under pressure from the start, forcing them to make wrong choices and mistakes. PSV prevailed from start to finish with surplus technique and handling speed. And PSV struck at the right moments. NAC only floundered a bit throughout the match.
In the first half, PSV gave away a chance after losing the ball in midfield. But PSV already led 0-2 (by 2 very nice goals) when 0-4 or 0-5 would not have been out of place. After the break, PSV took their foot off the gas pedal, without NAC being able to take advantage. In fact, when PSV got back on the gas for a short while, the goals came in immediately. And so, after 20 league rounds, points 58 to 60 have been added to the fine total.
