The report

This match between PSV and Sparta was an important match, we were equal in points before the game. Sparta immediately put high pressure on our defense and after only 4 minutes the guests scored 0-1. After ten minutes of being under pressure, PSV got into the game better and were in control. So we had several chances to make the 1-1, but luck was not on our side.

After fourteen minutes it was Yorbe Vertessen who crossed the ball and a Sparta player hit the ball unhappily, passing his own goalkeeper: 1-1. In the second half, PSV continued as the first half had ended to score the 2-1 and had most of the chances to do so. Finally in the 56 minute it was Nigel Thomas who crossed and Sekou Sidibe made the deserved 2-1 with a header. After that we had several more chances to make the to make a third, but it remained a nice 2-1 win.
