Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played the away match against AZ O.17.
AZ was the better team from the beginning. PSV was not aggressive enough and was trounced on all fronts by the opponent.
In the 30th min, PSV went behind 1-0. AZ took advantage of an oversight in PSV's defense. The AZ striker scored via the inside of the post.
A minute later it became 2-0. A combination on the left side allowed the AZ right-winger to shoot the ball clear in front of the goalkeeper.
PSV went close before half time, but Dante Rigo's free kick hit the bar.
The score at halftime was 2-0.
Immediately after halftime AZ decided the match. A combination through the center of the defense allowed the striker to shoot the 3-0.
PSV could not make a fist and lacked the conviction to get back in the game.
AZ also made it 4-0. After a foul from Armando Obispo the referee had no choice but to award AZ a penalty.
Final score 4-0.

Next Wednesday, PSV O.17 plays the semi-final for the cup against ADO Den Haag O.17.
