After some good wins, today was a total off-day.
Already after a few minutes A1 was facing a deficit. An attack on the left was headed in by Van Leijenhorst.
Although pressure was applied in the first half, PSV did not create more than a few unused chances.
The second was quickly told. Groningen scored the goals and PSV could not make a fist against a team that behaved like a tight team.
