On paper a not too difficult match, the first return of the league for PSV D2. Already after 16 minutes the game was played and it was already 0-6. PSV started sharp and played fresh. A distance shot by Rai opened the score. After a nice one-two between Michael and Endy, Michael finished neatly. Michael played a good game, enjoyed the game and occasionally fooled 3-4 Brabantia players. With a subtle heel he scored the 0-3. Then it was turbo Jeroen who scored 0-4, 0-5 and 0-7 until halftime. Michael shot the 0-6 in between from a free kick from about 25 meters on the right side. Yet some nonchalance crept into the team, after all, things were going quite easily. This gave reason for the other team to score a goal just before the halftime signal. With 1-7 our boys went into the break. There was a change and a fresh start. On to the record, or so they thought, but Brabantia put a stop to it. A pingel from behind was punished with a shot from the sixteen, 2-7. Could Brabantia have more to offer? The opposite was true, with goals from Olivier, Michael, Rai, Aaron and the final chord for Michael the final score was 2-12. Afterwards I asked the coach Mark Schel, also linesman today for his comments. " A match in which PSV did not get in trouble for a single moment. I think after 10 minutes the game was already decided. The superiority was evident. I think we started the 2nd half a bit sloppy which led to the 2nd goal for Brabantia. Otherwise the chances were well taken but in the end the difference was too big between the number last of the league and PSV.".
Boys, Trainers and Supervisors, PROFICIAT! and have a happy Sinterklaas.
