Football was played on the Herdgang. PSV C2 took on Willem II C2. PSV started the match very well and strongly, played good combination football, so Willem II could not get into their game. The last lines of PSV kept it tight at the back and were playing very strong football in combination with the PSV midfield. After about fifteen minutes of football, the deserved 1-0 was scored by Mohammed Rayhi. PSV continued to play good and beautiful football which allowed them to run out to a deserved 4-0 lead in the first half. Sherry Kindo Kamara scored the best goal of the day. He poked the ball over the goalkeeper from a great distance. Memphis Depay made it 3-0. Menno Koch made it 4-0 at halftime.

After halftime, PSV continued to play good football. After an unfortunate back-pass by a PSV defender on his goalkeeper, Willem II was able to score. The team from Tilburg increased the pressure on the PSV defense and forced it further and further back. But PSV's defense and goalie held up well and every Willem II attack was defused. PSV got back into the game and were dangerous again a few times. After another quick attack on the right, PSV scored the fifth goal of the match and finished the match in a professional manner. 5-1, a deserved result and a nice victory for PSV over Willem II. Because Feyenoord and Sparta were not in action this weekend, PSV C2 is for a while leader in the C2 competition.
