Convincing league start PSV O13

After last week's cup success, PSV O13 also recorded a victory in the first league match of the season. At the Herdgang they defeated Rotterdam opponent Spartaan'20 4-0. The team ended a good training week with a convincing victory.

PSV started the match brightly and quickly took the lead. In the second minute, a corner was extended to Zaid el Bakkali. In free position, he was able to calmly take the ball and shoot it in. PSV wanted to push on quickly and also created some good chances, but unfortunately they were missed. Five minutes before half time the deserved 2-0 fell. A corner kick ended up at Raf van de Riet, who threw the ball well in front of the goal. With his cross Raf found the head of Brian van de Boogaard, who headed the ball in hard. Because Eindhoven did not give anything away defensively, both teams went to the dressing rooms with a 2-0 score.

In the second half, it soon became clear that not much would change in the pattern of play. PSV had the ball and tried to find openings in the Rotterdam defense. In the tenth minute after halftime, this pressure was rewarded with a goal. A free kick by Raf ended up at Robin van Duiven, who was able to tap in at the second post and put the 3-0 on the scoreboard. Moments later it was also 4-0: a deflected cross ended up with Raf, who was able to shoot in on the edge of the penalty area.

As nothing more happened after that, PSV O13 closed the first league game with a 4-0 victory. Next week there is no league game scheduled for the team, the following week the O13 has its first away game of the season. At Sportpark Zoudenbalch FC Utrecht O13 will be the opponent.
