PSV C2 is going through a dramatic season. For the last victory we have to look back a month and a half already. Three points in the away game against ESA would therefore be very welcome. In Arnhem the team of coach Pepijn Lijnders played well. The big men from ESA were regularly put to shame with beautiful actions. Despite the chances, however, no goals were scored in the first half, leaving the game 0-0 at halftime. After tea, PSV slumped a bit, but despite this, the Eindhoven side took a 1-0 lead. The goal scorer was Jerry van Ewijk, who played against the club where he started his football career. Just before time, goalkeeper Mitchel Beense was allowed to step in. Because of his broken finger, he was not in goal, but as a field player. The free kick that had to be taken at that moment was curled in beautifully by Peter van Ooijen. Not much later the referee blew the whistle and finally another victory for PSV C2. Next Tuesday there is a league match against Top Oss C1.
