ASML and PSV are going to further expand their mutual cooperation. The partners are launching a number of initiatives that demonstrate the Brainport region's leading role in technology and innovation, that make the region even more attractive to its residents and that contribute to the business climate for (inter)national top talent.
ASML Community Lounge
A key role is reserved for the new 'ASML Community Lounge'. In this space in the Philips Stadium, employees of ASML and people from the Brainport region come together to enjoy football games or other special moments. Starting in September 2021, events will be organized for children who deserve extra attention, clients of the Salvation Army, the Food Bank and other aid agencies. Finally, the ASML Community Lounge will also welcome newcomers to the region to help them feel at home more quickly.
Innovation through data
The cooperation is also being expanded in the area of innovation. In recent months, PSV and ASML have already worked intensively together on data analysis of data collected during training sessions and matches. PSV's sports science staff, together with data analysts from ASML, have thus developed a unique model with which PSV can convert this information into concrete forms of training. The first results are already being applied on the field. In the coming period, PSV and ASML will continue to build new models and forms of advanced data analysis.
Caring for the region
Finally, ASML and PSV, together with other major companies in the region, are going to further strengthen Brainport's health and socioeconomic climate. For example, a vitality platform has been set up where thousands of employees of companies in the region can get tips and exercises for a healthier lifestyle. Interactive teaching programs have also been devised to make schoolchildren curious about the world of technology.
