The last match of the season is scheduled for Young PSV on Friday evening. Darije Kalezic's team will receive FC Volendam at 20:00 at De Herdgang.

Victory eludes Psv U21
Currently, Young PSV is already eight games undefeated. Three of them were won, five were drawn. One of those draws was last Friday against last place RKC Waalwijk. Young PSV rested with a 0-1 lead and doubled that score in the 63rd minute. Six minutes later, the Waalwijkers had the tying goal and the club was back in the game. Young PSV seemed to hold out, but eventually succumbed to the pressure. Frank van Mosselveld made it 2-2 in the 90th minute. Young PSV is now 14th and can pass Jong FC Twente with a win.

Play-offs promotion/degradation
FC Volendam is the number five of the Jupiler League and is already sure of a place in the nacompetition for promotion/degradation. With a win over Young PSV, the North Dutch pass FC Emmen, with a defeat De Graafschap can pass the club on the league table. However, that will no longer make a difference for the playoffs, which Volendam will enter. The last few weeks Volendam has not been playing optimally, with Hans de Koning's team waiting for four games for a win. Last week the club played a 1-1 draw at home against VVV Venlo, the match before that against Almere City also ended 1-1.

Narrow defeat in Volendam
At the beginning of November, Young PSV visited FC Volendam. That match ended in a 1-0 defeat by a goal from Kevin Brands, son of technical manager Marcel Brands. Young PSV survived many FC Volendam chances in that match, but still had to watch Brands score the 1-0 ten minutes before time.
